Elliptical Table
Elliptical Coffee Table

The beautiful grain pattern of this table makes it a unique piece. This is a solid cherry table, though the legs appear lighter due to the reflection of the camera flash.

Originally constructed with a "Prairie leg" base, it was later decided that outside tapered legs would make the table more elegant and not detract from the elliptical top.

The table is 17 inches high, 40 inches at its longest, and 20 at its widest.

Media Cabinet

Designed to house stereo components and a smaller television set, this media cabinet is made of solid cherry. The doors' pannels are made of bookmatchedpieces of solid cherry.

The quirkiness of asymmetrical doors as the client had requested makes this a unique cabinet.

Bird's-eye Maple Table
Bird's-eye Maple Tables

This is one of a pair of solid bird's-eye maple tables recently crafted for an Edmonton customer.

Good bird's-eye maple isn't easy to come by in Alberta, especially in an adequate thickness for solid legs. Given time and patience, however, enough stock was located and these two beautiful pieces were produced.

Even the best photography cannot capture the shimmery radiance and depth of the bird's-eye figure in this wood.

The tables stand 26 inches high and have a 19 inch square top.

Bedside Tables

Recently, a customer designed a pair of bedside tables using elements from other Gerrybuilt pieces and some of his own adaptations.

This pair of cherry tables features "Prairie" legs, an underside bevel on the top, and storage space without a drawer. The customer thought use of a contrasting wood, maple, would accent the opening and lighten up the interior of the tables.

Each table stands 23 inches high and measures 18.5 inches wide and 16.5 inches deep. Made of solid cherry, maple, and the bottom of the interior is made of maple plywood.

Cherry Bookcase

Cherry & Maple Bookcase

This bookcase was made for both books and to display various art objects. It features two adjustable shelves made of maple which provide a beautiful contrast to the deep warmth of the solid cherry wood.

The sides of the case were made with single, unusually wide pieces of cherry making it unique.

The backing of the case is made of cherry plywood.

The bookcase is 42 inches high, 36 inches wide, and 12 inches deep.

Telephone Table

This red oak table was designed to fit between a couch and the entryway to a room where there was about 12 inches of wall space.

Its function is hold a single telephone and perhaps a decorative vase on the lower shelf.

The table was designed by the customer using elements from other Gerrybuilt tables: "Prairie" legs, underside bevel on the top, and a shelf placed right at the narrowest point of the legs.

The table measures 23 inches high, and the top is 11 inches square. The shelf in 6 inches square.
